Amala Education

Jordan

Amala Education delivers transformative learning programs to refugees and displaced young people in places including Jordan, Kenya, and Uganda. Amala’s mission is to use the power of education to transform the lives of refugees, their communities, and the world. Amala runs the first upper secondary level programme and qualification designed with and for refugee youth. They also offer shorter Changemaker Courses in areas such as Peace-building, Ethical Leadership, and Social Entrepreneurship, where students engage in community action projects to make a difference in their own lives and the world around them.

Fatima Abualeenein

Fatima is passionate about education that changes lives. She currently serves as a Learning Lead at Amala Education, where she supports the design and delivery of the Amala Global Secondary Diploma. She also works closely with educators, supporting their professional development and facilitating training that strengthens teaching and learning practices across the program.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work at the German Jordanian University, focusing on migration and refugee studies, and deepening her interest in the role of education in empowering young people.
