KEY Academy
KEY (Keep Educating Yourself) Academy is a 21st-century, project based school offering a new model of education for children from 18 months to 18 years old. Through a local and global network of educators, subject matter experts, mentors and industry leaders, they are revolutionising the conventional approach to education. Located in the heart of Lagos, Nigeria, they are replacing memorization and testing with project based learning that is real, relevant, meaningful, and applicable not only to the world that we live in today, but the world our children will inherit.

Damilola Okonkwo
Damilola Okonkwo is the founder of KEY Academy, a Lagos-based school she launched in 2019 after over a decade in Finance. She created KEY Academy to equip students with critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and real‑world problem‑solving skills. She leads the academy’s broader mission to transform education across Nigeria by expanding project‑based learning, empowering educators, and increasing access to high‑quality, future‑focused learning for millions of children.
