About the Forum
Organized by the Global Institute for Shaping a Better Future, the Better Future Forum convenes global leaders from across the education ecosystem, together with visionary leaders from local contexts, to connect, learn together, and consider a collective agenda for reshaping education so that students can develop holistically and shape a better future.
Participants
Forum participants are global education leaders, invited based on the transformative work they’re leading in their own education systems and contexts, and for the unique perspective and experience they’ll bring in their capacity as students, educators, researchers, non-state actors, policymakers, philanthropists, and thought leaders.

Forum Objectives
Guided by the Global Institute’s aim to contribute to the learning and leadership development of people committed to reshaping education, the Forum’s objectives are threefold:
CONNECT
Foster relationships among diverse leaders from across the global, regional, and local education ecosystems, including those often excluded from global policy spaces.
LEARN
Bridge the gap between practice and policy by surfacing and spreading practitioner-led insights and evidence on the following learning questions:
- What is happening in classrooms where students are developing holistically?
- What is happening in places where collective leadership is developing towards system change?
- How can we develop collective leadership to shift classrooms and systems?
SPARK COLLECTIVE ACTION
Enable collective action and leadership through fostering partnerships, joint advocacy, and commitments to advance a shared agenda and vision for progress with impact beyond the Forum itself.

2026 Better Future Forum | 12 - 14 May 2026 | Singapore
This year’s three-day Forum will again be hosted in Singapore, where the Global Institute is based.
Building on the foundation of the inaugural 2025 Forum, which brought together 200 participants from more than 50 countries, we look forward to reconvening this vibrant and growing community of education leaders from across the global ecosystem, together with visionary leaders from local contexts, to connect, learn together, and consider a collective agenda for change.
With our world shifting at an accelerated pace, we must ensure that current efforts to reshape education are keeping up. Join us as we investigate these bright spots of innovation and progress, meet the practitioners who are helping shape them, and consider the path forward together with global ecosystem leaders–-students, educators, non-state actors, policymakers, philanthropists, and thought leaders–all committed to developing students holistically to shape a better future.
