Through collaborative inquiry and role-specific planning, you will learn how to create environments that prioritize holistic development and student voice.
 

Objectives

  • Build a clear understanding of what student leadership looks and sounds like by drawing on inspirational case studies.
  • Analyze current practices to identify specific opportunities for shifting power and responsibility from the educator to the student.
  • Design one actionable student leadership strategy.

Ale Vassallo is the Global Classroom and Systems Integration Leader at Teach For All and an alumnus of Enseña Perú.  In her role, she specializes in researching transformational teachers and selecting insights to improve frameworks at Teach For All. She is dedicated to developing innovative resources and learning experiences for teachers, program designers, and mentors.
