A reflective learning loop for educators that explores how to navigate the pressures of the role and transform them into powerful catalysts for growth—for both the teacher and their students. This reflection helps educators realign with their purpose, turning daily challenges into a source of ongoing transformation.

Objective

  • Explore stories of fellows who have had journeys from struggle to transformation.
  • Identify the mindsets, behaviors, and conditions that bridge the gap between initial struggle and transformative classroom leadership.
  • Design interventions to support teachers to bridge the gap from struggling to thriving.

Ale Vassallo is the Global Classroom and Systems Integration Leader at Teach For All and an alumnus of Enseña Perú.  In her role, she specializes in researching transformational teachers and selecting insights to improve frameworks at Teach For All. She is dedicated to developing innovative resources and learning experiences for teachers, program designers, and mentors.

Through collaborative inquiry and role-specific planning, you will learn how to create environments that prioritize holistic development and student voice.
