This workshop is part of Teach For All’s Collaborative Inquiry on Teacher Leadership Development, an effort to answer a key learning question for our network: How can we develop teachers as leaders who foster the holistic development of students, and what conditions make this possible?
Over the past months, we have conducted a Review Sprint with partners, external organizations, internal teams, and teachers to gather and systematize existing knowledge. This workshop is a collaborative learning space to make meaning of what has been gathered, engage a broader group of stakeholders, and collectively surface, refine, and pressure-test early hypotheses about what effectively grows teachers who develop students holistically.
The session will be hosted by the Global Institute and offered at two time options to accommodate diverse schedules. All participants—whether or not they contributed to the Review Sprint—are welcome to join as co-learners and sense-makers.
Objectives
- Make sense of the insights gathered during the Review Sprint by identifying key patterns, themes, and
emerging evidence of what develops teachers as leaders who foster holistic student growth.
- Collectively surface and refine hypotheses about the learning conditions, experiences, and programmatic
choices that enable strong teacher leadership development
- Provide crowd-sourced feedback that strengthens and prioritizes the most promising hypotheses to
guide the next phase of the Collaborative Inquiry.
